Film grad Paul St. Amand‘s acclaimed Parallels is a finalist in the TriggerStreet Online Short Film Festival.
The thought-provoking documentary, which tells the stories of two veterans of the Vietnam and Iraq wars, respectively, has made the 10-film shortlist for the festival, the online spinoff of actor Kevin Spacey‘s company.
This is the second festival in the TriggerStreet “season”. The finalists will be voted upon by past winners and finalists to whittle the list down to four, which will then face off against the finalists from the other two festivals, all vying for the Budweiser Filmmaker Discovery Award. Grad Matthew Nie won the award in 2005. Past judges for the award have included many Hollywood A-listers.
