The moody Icelandic rock group Sigur Ros are about to launch a new album and movie called Minn Heima, and they teamed up with YouTube in December for a contest asking fans to develop original videos based on extra footage from the film. 3D graduate Joshua Herrig was one artist to take up the challenge. While he didn’t win the Grand Prize, Joshua’s lovely video is up on YouTube now, and featured on Sigur Ros’s channel, meaning that out of 146 submissions, he definitely won a first prize signed copy of the deluxe Heima DVD (with 100 page booklet) and the Hvarf-Heim double CD.
