When we last talked about the motion design project by four VFS Digital Design students called Iran: A Nation of Bloggers, it had just begun making its way into the public consciousness.
Since being featured on Motionographer, a leading site for motion design, it’s made appearances far and wide: from boingboing to the CBC, blogged by the likes of The Atlantic’s Andrew Sullivan and Ann Althouse.
This week, it appeared, in full, on Al Jazeera English, one of the three largest English-language 24-hour news channels in the world.
The student piece airs at the end of an episode of the program Listening Post.
If design is about communicating something, then it doesn’t get better than reaching a global audience like this. Congratulations to the makers, Digital Design students Aaron Chiesa, Toru Kageyama, Hendy Sukarya, and Lisa Temes, and the infographic’s writer Kate Tremills.
See our original post for a quote from Lisa and to see some of the reaction from commenters around the world!
