As we wait for the spectacle that will be James Cameron’s Avatar (in theatres later this month), we can bide our time with Ubisoft’s James Cameron’s Avatar: The Game, released today. Chief among the alumni who had a hand in this adaptation: Film Production grad Kevin Shortt, lead writer and story designer. Kevin’s other game credits include Far Cry 2.
Current Writing instructor John Meadows also worked on the project as Kevin’s co-writer.
Over on the game’s dev blog, there’s an interview with Kevin that’s worth a look. For a preview of Avatar: The Game, check out this feature on Wired.com.
