Film Production Grads’ Work at Vancouver Short Film Festival

The Vancouver Short Film Festival is this week, and this fifth edition of the fest features VFS student films both new and old!

El Turista, directed by Arcelia Ocana Manjarrez in Film Production, and Christian Malo‘s harrowing Addict will both be showing at the Emerging Filmmakers Screening on October 28. And two VFS films – Paul St. Amand‘s ingenious what-if Grover’s Mill and Jee Won Sul‘s The Shortest Dream – will be part of the Best of VSFF’s 5 Years screening on October 29. It’ll be great to see these films on the big screen again! If you’re in town, check it out:

Correction! Arcelia’s film, El Turista, was actually created while she was in the one-year Foundation Visual Art & Design program! She’s currently a Digital Design student.
