Sound Design Student Project Takes Top Spot at AES

We’ve gotten word that Alejandro Yllarramendy, who graduated from Sound Design for Visual Media in October, took first place at the Audio Engineering Society‘s student competition earlier this month! Alejandro’s Sound Design final project – which involved creating a completely new soundscape for Juan Bautista Ortelli’s Pimienta, earned the top prize in the Sound for Picture category at the 129th AES Convention in San Francisco.

Here’s Alejandro’s winning project. Enjoy!
