As we continue our guest blogging trend, let us introduce Rebecca Bollwitt, better known to most of you as Miss 604. Rebecca has been spending time in various Summer Intensives this week and sharing an inside look on her popular blog.
First up was Sound Design for Visual Media. Rebecca spent Monday morning with aspiring sound designers, learning a little bit about sound for film and games. Yesterday, she immersed herself in the world of acting, taking part in a Voice and Movement class with the Acting for Film & Television students.
Rebecca’s next stop will be the Business of Screenwriting, part of the Writing for Film & Television Intensive – so stay tuned!

From Miss 604:
This week I have gone back to school, kind of. The world-renown Vancouver Film School has invited me into their Summer Intensives classes, which are brief crash-courses, each representing a slice of a full multi-month program and course load. The intensives run for eight hours, five days this week and should they desire, students can then sign up for the full program in the fall. I’m getting a sneak peek (a few hours a day) in a different Summer Intensive each day this week.
Check out Miss 604 for her full posts on her experiences in Sound Design and Acting for Film & Television.
