Recap Below – contains spoilers!

The Foundation Challenge this week was to create a beauty makeup based on the dress worn by their model. Roy won the challenge, earning him immunity for the upcoming Spotlight Challenge. That challenge was to create a steampunk character based on one of four character classes from the video game Dishonored.

Judge Glenn Hetrick, a steampunk pro himself, had some words of advice for the artists, some of whom were struggling with the concept. Sarah chose to create something from the Aristocrat class but by the end of the second day, wasn’t able to finish her hand pieces. When she returned the next day, Sarah decided to forget about the hands and focus on her face piece.

At the Reveal Stage, the judges pick Rod and Derek as top two looks of the week. Ultimately, Derek came out on top with a creation that the judges felt fit the game and challenge perfectly. At the bottom were Sarah, as her creation didn’t turn out well and aesthetic was out of line with the video game, and Tommy. The judges decidde that Tommy, with his sloppy application, should be the one to go home.

With only six competitors left and just a little over a month to go until the season finale on October 31st, things are seriously heating up! Tune in next Tuesday to see Sarah attempt to get that much closer to the grand prize.
