Makeup Design for Film & Television alumni Chiahui Lin and Lilly Yang made a big impression Down Under this weekend at the International Make-Up Artist Trade Show in Sydney, Australia.

Lin took first place in Saturday’s Beauty/Fantasy Student Competition at IMATS Sydney. Yang, 22, first came to VFS from Washington State, and placed second. Both graduated from the one-year VFS Makeup Design program this past April.

And it didn’t stop there. Lin, a 25-year-old who originally hails from Taiwan, went on to earn third place in the Character/Prosthetic competition on Sunday.
